Hussein Saidi

As a fine artist who specializes in impressionism, I am constantly inspired by the world around me. I find beauty in the most unexpected places, such as the gritty texture of slums and the delicate nature through the seasons.

My paintings are a reflection of my unique perspective on the world. I strive to capture the essence of a moment or a place in my work, using natural fibers texture, color and brushstrokes to convey a sense of emotion and atmosphere.

His collection of art speaks to various style and themes. His unique technic of using sisal fibers brings together his two worlds—Tanzania and the United States.  As a boy, as is typical of children in Tanzania, Saidi created his own toys out of found-objects.
